We need an editor to proofread, edit and make necessary changes to our categorized wordlist for our trivial iPhone word game.
What do we have:
A wordlist to proofread, edit and make supplementary additions. Our list now consists Read more » of 2600 words under 26 categories such as Animals, Vehicles, Body Parts, Sciences etc. You will be sent the completed English list and our initial translation works' results in your language.
What we need:
We need you to proofread words that we translated to your language and reshape our wordlist to your language. The wordlist must contain a minimum of 2000 words under the pre-determined categories. All the translations must be legit. For example, it is not necessary to translate a fruit's name if it is ultra rare in your country and/or if it does not exist in your language. But we will be expecting the total word count not to alter much with your additions and replacements.
How will you do it?:
Most of the list will be already translated from several sources. You can ignore the words that is not used the same way in your language as in English. But we expect you to add your local/common words under that category in order to maintain total word count. We also want to know a resource to check the general wordlist (a legit dictionary etc.) from you. We need this because we have to respond to our players when they ask where does these words come from!
How much time you have?:
The total list can easily be completed in a half day. Deadline can be adjusted up to a week.
Why should you bother to look for/remember/add extra words?:
We are ready to pay $10 for every 100 words that you added. (Words of which we could not find the English word for it. We can discuss the criteria during the work.)
We will pay $30 for the proofreading part. Read less «
